When another video I was working on didn’t come out as planned, I needed a recipe in a hurry! Thinking about when I want cake in a hurry I sometimes go a step further, I thought what would be the next step up from that? Enter: the three-ingredient chocolate cake made from just self-raising flour, eggs and a jar of Nutella.
It’s not the most moist or intense chocolate cake you’ll ever eat, but it makes for a quick and easy base to add your own touches – salt, vanilla, chocolate chips or make a ganache. You can customise this however you like, or just enjoy the base cake with a nice coffee. It’s definitely the quickest and easiest cake you’ll make that isn’t done in a microwave, that’s for sure!
